As a little girl, Lydia dreamed of becoming a singer—specifically, a backup singer. It’s her heartfelt talent for supporting others that allows her to shine outside the spotlight. While working in the nonprofit sector for 10 years, Lydia helped launch Many Hopes, a social justice nonprofit that educates and empowers Kenyan girls. At AHA!, Lydia encourages her team members to stay on pitch and in harmony, while she gladly works behind the scenes to make sure her clients take center stage.

• Helped get the Oregon Foster Youth Bill of Rights passed through the state legislature in 2013
• Organized a 500-person jump-rope-a-thon for a girls mentoring program
